Great pay. Great benefits. They have a high turnover rate because of the employees not the employer. There can be no mistakes or accidents in this line of work. If you can not pass random drug tests, you are not needed there. Thousands of us in the area are affected by by this plant . I've heard of the health issues but I really don't know too much about them. You can get run over and killed crossing the street but will the street be at fault?. Employees at Vogtle made an informed decision to work there.As with any job, do your job and follow the policies and you will remain there but if you don't then, you're gone. I live right down the street from the plant and I have no problem with it Well, maybe the traffic from them getting to and coming from work LOL

This place is pretty crazy. I worked here for about a month before passing out in a reactor. After being in a coma for about a month, I woke up to having an extra arm, and four more toes. I rated it two stars instead of one because the cons are that I have to get new shirts to accommodate the third arm. The good part about it, requiring me to give it at least another star, is that I now have three arms and can do more, as well as the added super power of being able to see through walls, so that's a plus.
